Images in Salt Lake City, Walk by Walk

The last few months my husband and I have been able to walk through Sugarhouse in Salt Lake City, recording the beauty and the mood of this wonderful area. I wanted to share this experience through photography...not just the mountains and the sky, but the animals and birds living nestled in Hidden Hollow. It seems on each trip that nature comes out to meet us, as we wind our way through the path in the midst of the city.
We call this picture our "double duck" and are amazed at the patterns in the water...the ducks came to know us and  did not fly away.

These geese were actually looking both ways before crossing the road...they watched us wait for the walk sign, and then followed.

And of course, there is always the mystical Wasatch front,  just by lifting your head and looking up.

All photos are the property of R. Barton (Oliver Barton), American Image Press. They can be purchased by contacting me at smccarterbarton@gmail.com.
